By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our Services
We provide talent sourcing and booking services, including but not limited to:
2.1 Speaker & Mentor Sourcing
Our services may include:
Identification and confirmation of suitably qualified industry professionals;
Matching speakers and mentors to specific briefs, talks, panels, workshops, mentoring programmes, or curriculum sessions;
Liaison with speakers and mentors regarding availability and engagement requirements.
2.2 Short-Notice Substitution
Where possible, we may assist in sourcing replacement speakers or mentors for cancellations at short notice. Availability of replacement talent cannot be guaranteed.
2.3 Retainer Services
Where agreed separately, clients may engage us on a retainer basis. Retainer arrangements may include:
Ongoing access to curated industry talent;
Priority booking support;
Faster response times;
Agreed sourcing allocations during the retainer period.
Specific retainer terms will be set out in a separate agreement.
2.4 Delivery Formats
Services may be arranged for:
Online sessions;
In-person events.
Where services are delivered in person, travel, accommodation, venue costs, and related expenses remain the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Service Fees
Fees are quoted on a project-by-project basis and may vary depending on the nature, scope, and urgency of the engagement.
Typical fees may include:
Confirmed speaker bookings;
Introductory or first-time bookings;
Emergency or short-notice replacement bookings;
Monthly retainer arrangements.
All fees will be confirmed in writing before work commences.
3.2 Additional Costs
Clients are responsible for any agreed additional expenses, including but not limited to:
Travel and accommodation costs;
Venue-related expenses;
Speaker or mentor charity donation requests;
Other third-party costs incurred on the client's behalf.
3.3 Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within the payment period stated on the invoice.
We reserve the right to suspend services or withhold booking confirmations where invoices remain unpaid.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate information regarding event requirements and timelines;
Respond promptly to requests for information or approvals;
Ensure that all event logistics and technical requirements are communicated in advance;
Comply with any contractual obligations agreed with speakers or mentors.
Delays caused by incomplete information or late approvals may affect our ability to deliver services.
5. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
The client has accepted the proposed engagement;
The speaker or mentor has confirmed availability; and
Any required deposits or fees have been paid.
We will use reasonable efforts to secure requested talent but cannot guarantee the availability of any specific individual.
6. Cancellations
By the Client
Cancellation fees may apply where a confirmed booking is cancelled by the client.
Any non-refundable expenses already incurred will remain payable.
By the Speaker or Mentor
If a speaker or mentor cancels, we will make reasonable efforts to identify a suitable replacement. However, we cannot guarantee replacement availability and are not liable for losses resulting from such cancellations.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, graphics, documents, and materials, remains the property of Connection Made or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We act as a sourcing and booking intermediary between clients and speakers or mentors.
We are not responsible for the content, opinions, performance, or conduct of speakers or mentors.
Our total liability arising from any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid to us for the relevant booking.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities.
9. Website Use
You agree not to:
Use the website unlawfully;
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
Upload malicious software or harmful content;
Interfere with the operation of the website.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where these terms are breached.
10. Privacy
Any personal information submitted through this website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms

12. Governing Law
